Joe Hendry’s Concert Ends In Brutal Beatdown During 12/30 WWE NXT

The December 30 episode of NXT was the brand’s last chance to make noise in 2025. They only had one more episode of NXT to present this year, and Joe Hendry was ready for them to call his name so he could make it count.

Joe Hendry has delighted NXT fans in the past with his musical talents. Concert promos are a staple of Hendry, as he did them in TNA Wrestling, and even before that. This week on NXT, he had another chance to show off his musical skills.

Hendry started off his concert by saying that 2025 has been a great year for NXT and himself. He won the TNA World Title, appeared at the Royal Rumble, he wrestled Randy Orton at WrestleMania, slammed The Miz at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and he debuted for NXT. Then it was time for him to start his song.

After strumming a few chords on his white acoustic guitar, he sang about how the chef has been in the kitchen in NXT, and the women’s division is on fire. He also gave props to Je’Von Evans for being great, but then he threw some shade at Ethan Page. He mentioned how Mr. Iguana stole his car, so he’s still sour.

The chorus to the song said that NXT was the show for him in 2025. He sang about how Trick Williams was a champion, but he is now back to crying and releasing terrible songs. Then he said that Ricky Saints is just a “whiney little bitch” after losing the NXT Title.

He mentioned DarkState, and how they destroy the show, but nobody knew who they were until Joe Hendry made them famous. Suddenly, the lights went out and DarkState made their presence known.

The members of DarkState jumped in the ring and beat Joe Hendry down in violent fashion. Then Hendry took a multi-man powerbomb. They left Hendry laying on the mat as the segment came to a close.

This was quite a song, and it was catchy as well. Joe Hendry knows how to write a song, and this one certainly summed up 2025 well. Sadly, he didn’t get to really finish his concert.
