Joe Hendry’s entrance theme didn’t just take over NXT — it followed him home.
During a conversation with The Sportster, the NXT Champion opened up about how his viral theme song has spilled into real life in ways he never expected. When asked about the wildest place someone has started singing his theme to him, Hendry didn’t hesitate.
It’s happening at his own house. While discussing how catchy and widespread the song has become, Hendry revealed that delivery drivers have turned his doorstep into an unofficial concert venue.
“It happens a lot whenever I get Uber Eats delivered to the house. It happens quite — it happened yesterday actually before I got to — oh no no no it was, I think it was Monday night maybe? Or was it — no, it was last night. It was last night after I got back from NXT. It actually happened last night. So that does happen pretty frequently. That’s one of the disadvantages is the more that you order from Uber, the more you’re letting people know where you live. So I would say that’s the answer.”
The viral success of Hendry’s theme song — which previously climbed the iTunes charts and dominated social media — clearly hasn’t cooled off. It’s become so recognizable that even everyday errands turn into fan encounters.
And it doesn’t stop at food delivery. Hendry also revealed that even routine appointments in the United States have turned into impromptu meet-and-greets. After relocating and handling standard paperwork, he found himself juggling fandom with formalities.
“Oh yeah, it actually happened. Because obviously when you move over to the US, you got to get like your Florida driver’s license and stuff like that if you’re living here. So, you know, going for an appointment there, I remember someone asking for pictures like while I was getting that done. I was like, ‘All right, you know, we got the picture,’ but you know — it was, yeah, you got to multitask sometimes.”
For Hendry, the song that helped catapult him into WWE stardom isn’t just an entrance anymore — it’s a calling card. Whether he’s fresh off NXT television or simply answering the door, fans are ready to sing along.
The bigger picture here is clear: Joe Hendry’s brand has crossed from wrestling arenas into everyday life. That kind of crossover recognition is rare, and it speaks to just how deeply his theme and persona have connected with fans.
