Joe Hendry has officially joined the WWE roster.

Following months of crossover appearances and escalating involvement with the NXT brand, WWE.com has now listed Hendry as an active competitor under the NXT section—confirming what many fans already assumed: he’s here to stay.

Hendry’s road to a full-time WWE role spans an 18-month stretch beginning with the WWE NXT and TNA crossover in 2024. His first official appearance came during the June 18, 2024, episode of NXT, where he entered a 25-man battle royal to determine the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship. Although he didn’t win, his elimination at the hands of fellow TNA star Frankie Kazarian kicked off a storyline that would play out across both companies.

Through the remainder of 2024, Hendry became a regular fixture on Tuesday nights. He feuded with Gallus, tangled with Ethan Page, and chased the NXT Championship across several major episodes. His consistent appearances positioned him as a major player on the brand—even as his status remained unofficial.

In 2025, Hendry made the leap to WWE’s main stage. He appeared as entrant No. 15 in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble match, marking his official debut on a main roster Premium Live Event. He followed that with a surprise WrestleMania 41 appearance, answering an open challenge from Randy Orton. Although he came up short against the Viper, the match gave Hendry a platform on WWE’s biggest weekend of the year.

With his addition to WWE’s official roster page, Hendry’s presence in the company is now formalized—cementing his journey from crossover guest to full-time competitor.

What do you think of Joe Hendry’s rise through NXT and into the main roster spotlight? Should WWE keep him in NXT or fast-track him to Raw or SmackDown? Drop your thoughts below.
