Joe Hendry has made it clear he’s not waiting for an invitation to the party. The TNA star took to social media ahead of next week’s NXT vs. TNA Showdown and promised fans he will be there, doubling down on his claim that he’s already changed the game.

In his promo, Hendry gave credit to Jordan Grace while also reminding everyone about his accomplishments as TNA Champion.

“Joe Hendry. Say his name and he appears. I just watched Jordan’s video and you know what? She is absolutely correct. None of this happens without Jordan Grace. You know what else is true? Joe Hendry changed the entire landscape of NXT versus TNA. I was the guy that got the call as TNA champion to be in the Royal Rumble to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania. My first appearance in NXT was the most watched video in all of wrestling last year. And now you’re going to tell me that I’m not involved in Showdown? Well, guess what? They’re going to say his name and he is going to appear at Showdown next Tuesday.”

Hendry has been making regular appearances on both TNA and NXT television, so his presence at Showdown adds even more intrigue to an already stacked card.
