WWE released many talented Superstars as part of their latest round of cuts and that included the Scottish faction Gallus. Following their release, Joe Coffey has now broken his silence on the matter.
Joe Coffey took to Twitter and sent a message following Gallus’ release. He said that anyone who shared the ring or locker room with them knows what they brought to the table.
Joe Coffey thanked WWE and NXT, ending with the phrase “Iron don’t break” and promised that more details would be shared soon. He also hinted that fans will see them again.
“If you were in the ring with us. You know. If you were in a locker room with us. You know. Thank you @WWE @WWENXT Iron don’t break. See you’s soon. Statement and information coming soon.”
Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang were a solid team in NXT UK before moving to NXT in the U.S. Mark and Wolfgang held the NXT UK Tag Team Titles for almost 500 days, one of the longest reigns in recent WWE history. Joe also had some great singles matches against stars like Ilja Dragunov and GUNTHER.
After NXT UK ended, Gallus joined the main NXT brand and stayed together. They won the NXT Tag Team Titles in 2023 and stayed in the tag team scene and even though they weren’t on TV as much lately, people still saw them as a solid and experienced team. Now that they’ve been released, we’ll have to wait and see what’s next for Gallus as it’s clear they will dominate the independent circuit once again.
