TNA Wrestling could be on the verge of losing another major name as Jody Threat’s contract is officially nearing its expiration date.

According to a November 20 report from Fightful Select, the former two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion is only days away from free agency.

“We’ve learned that her contract is scheduled to expire on December 1. TNA sources Fightful Select spoke to confirmed that they are hoping to retain her.”

Threat previously revealed during an appearance on In The Weeds that her deal was winding down and that talks with TNA were already underway. She didn’t share the exact expiration date at the time, but now it’s clear she’s heading into contract season with just over a week left on her deal.

Known for her no-nonsense style and gritty presence in the Knockouts division, Threat has been a consistent force in TNA’s women’s roster and a fan favorite. She also brings championship experience, having held the Knockouts Tag Team Titles twice.

Sources inside TNA reportedly view her as a priority signing and are pushing to keep her locked in for the long haul. But with her deal set to expire on December 1, the clock is ticking—and the wrestling world will be watching to see if she stays put or explores new opportunities.

Jody Threat now joins names like AJ Francis on the growing list of talent entering contract talks as 2025 winds down. Whether she sticks with TNA or makes a surprise move elsewhere, her decision could shake up the Knockouts division heading into 2026.
