After weeks of speculation, Jody Threat has officially re-signed with TNA Wrestling—putting an end to rumors that the Knockouts standout might walk away from the company.
In a new interview conducted by PWInsider’s Mike Johnson on January 14, 2026, Threat confirmed that she has inked a fresh deal with TNA. The interview has not yet been released in full, but Johnson noted:
“I am in the midst of interviewing TNA star Jody Threat. During the conversation, she revealed she has signed a new deal with the company.”
This confirmation ends the uncertainty that had surrounded Threat’s status for nearly two months. Back on November 20, 2025, Fightful Select reported that her contract was set to expire on December 1. At the time, TNA sources stated they were actively working to retain her and viewed her as a “priority signing.”
Threat had also previously acknowledged on In The Weeds that her deal was winding down, though she didn’t publicly disclose the expiration date. Known for her explosive energy and smash-mouth offense, the former two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion has been a key part of the Knockouts division—and fans were watching closely to see where she’d land.
Threat’s decision to stay gives the company some much-needed stability on the women’s side of the roster heading into 2026. And with this new contract locked in, TNA now retains one of its most consistent and hard-hitting talents.
