Raj Dhesi, formerly known as Jinder Mahal, isn’t ruling out a return to WWE—or a move to another major promotion—but he’s making one thing clear: it’s all about the money and creative freedom.

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm on Muscle Memory, Dhesi explained that while he’s enjoying life on the independent scene, the right offer could bring him back to the big leagues.

“Of course, if it makes sense—creative, business-wise. There have to be enough zeros on a piece of paper for me to sign it. A lot of them.”

Since his WWE release in 2024, Dhesi has been competing for GCW, AAA, Maple Leaf Pro, and more, proving that he can thrive outside of the corporate wrestling machine. But he isn’t just wrestling for the sake of it—he’s set himself up for financial stability and now gets to pick and choose his opportunities.

“I’ve been very blessed in my career. I had a long career and I invested most of my earnings throughout my years. I became financially literate—I studied money, learned about compound interest, how to invest in the S&P 500, rental properties—so now I just kind of do what I want and have fun.”

While Dhesi is holding multiple championships on the independent circuit, his comments suggest that he’s keeping his phone close for the right call. If WWE, AEW, or another top promotion offers the right deal, a return to mainstream wrestling could happen sooner rather than later.
