Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas is stirring the pot again—this time by reacting to a completely fake tweet that surfaced during AEW Dynamite

During the December 10th episode of AEW Dynamite, one fan took things to another level by posting a doctored image of the Kyle Fletcher vs. Mike Bailey match. The fake graphic showed a bogus tweet claiming, “WWE could put on a great match like this,” trying to stir up tribal tension between the two promotions.

But there was one major problem—the image was completely fake. Eagle-eyed viewers quickly spotted the watermark “imgflip.com” in the bottom-left corner, revealing that the post was just another meme made to look real. Still, the damage was done—and it didn’t stop former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas from jumping in.

Taking to Twitter, Korderas responded as if the image were real and blasted AEW for allegedly stoking the flames of tribalism, as he clearly fell for the fake photo.

“The fact they put this on TV says more about them than anything else. Explains why their talent are constantly on social media trying to dog the other guys. This is why the Sickos act the way they do. The company encourages the tribalism.”

Many fans pointed out that AEW never aired such a tweet on television—because it simply never happened. But that didn’t stop the misinformation from gaining traction online.

This is exactly why people are growing tired of the constant tribal bickering between WWE and AEW fanbases. Both companies have delivered top-tier matches in recent months—and acting like one is incapable of doing so is not just toxic, it’s flat-out false.

Whether you’re Team AEW or Team WWE, it’s simply time to pump the brakes on the fake tweets and fandom warfare.
