It looks like Jimmy Jacobs is out at WWE, and it all comes down to a selfie with the wrong crew.
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Jacobs is no longer working for WWE following a backstage run-in with The Bullet Club. The situation unfolded a few weeks ago when members of The Bullet Club staged an appearance outside the arena before Monday Night RAW in Ontario, California. Jacobs, who had been working as a WWE producer, apparently took a photo with the group—and that didn’t sit well with WWE officials.
Satin reported that Jacobs received “major heat” from higher-ups for snapping the picture. While WWE hasn’t officially commented on the matter, many within the company believe that photo played a role in his departure.
The image in question shows Jacobs posing with members of The Bullet Club, a group famously seen as outsiders to WWE, which may have been seen as crossing the line by WWE management.
At this time, Jacobs hasn’t made a public statement about the situation, and WWE has remained silent on the details behind his exit.
Do you think WWE overreacted to the photo, or was Jacobs out of line posing with The Bullet Club? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you see this one playing out.
