WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently announced he needed surgery after being diagnosed with colon cancer and now it appears that his surgery was a massive success.

Conrad Thompson took to Twitter and announced that Jim Ross underwent successful surgery and doctors are hopeful they were able to remove all of his cancer. He also asked fans to keep Jim Ross in their thoughts and prayers as he begins his recovery.

“Just heard from @rmorfnyc that JR’s surgery went well and they hope to have successfully removed all of his cancer this morning! Please keep @JRsBBQ in your thoughts and prayers as he begins his recovery! 🙏 🤲 ♥️”

This comes after Good Ol’ JR already confirmed he was hospitalized earlier today in order to get the surgery. He was clearly getting a lot of support from fans and wrestlers alike and it clearly paid off in a big way.

Earlier this week, the WWE Hall of Famer already revealed that his recovery time won’t be long, as was going to undergo a unique procedure involving laser surgery done by computer. Ross made it clear he would be up and ready to go within a couple of weeks and so he would definitely make it for AEW All In: Texas.

“Hell yeah, I think so, why not? The time to recover is not long. I think I’m actually getting a laser—guy’s doing surgery via computer, which is kinda unique. So I think I’ll be up and able to go in a couple of weeks.”

This is certainly great news for fans of Jim Ross since his surgery was a success and now it’s just about him taking his time to recover before he can go back to doing what he loves most. Ringside News wishes Jim Ross a speedy recovery and hope he gets back as soon as possible.
