Triple H is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame for the second time, this time as an individual member of the Class of 2025, and Jim Ross isn’t having any of the backlash.

Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, the legendary announcer didn’t hold back, shutting down critics who claim that Triple H only got in because of his marriage to Stephanie McMahon.

“Congratulations to Triple H for being inducted, or gonna be inducted soon. Anybody that says he’s not deserving, the only reason he’s in is because of who he married is such bullshit. It’s weak. If you’re saying that, stop. Stop embarrassing yourself,” Ross said.

He made it clear that Triple H’s career speaks for itself, reminding everyone that he was the top heel in one of WWE’s hottest eras and is now leading the company to record-breaking success.

“The son of a bitch was the top heel in one of the hottest eras in WWE [history], and now he’s the quarterback, the head coach of that same team that’s setting records. Give me a break. Stop it. You’re embarrassing yourself by showing your ignorance. Don’t do that.”

Ross also revealed that Triple H personally responded to his congratulatory text, proving that even with all the power he holds, he hasn’t forgotten those who helped him along the way.

“I sent him a text the other day, congratulating him, and believe it or not, it was the day after the Rumble, he texted me back. He doesn’t forget those that have helped him along the way and those that he respects, and he’s doing a great job.”

Triple H’s second Hall of Fame induction has sparked plenty of discussion, but JR’s message is clear—anyone doubting The Game’s legacy needs to stop talking.
