He’s looking forward to all the matches on the NXT: Takeover special, noting that any of the matches could steal the show. Ross loves listening to Mauro Ranallo and is excited to hear him commentate the show, but he can’t understand why there seems to be a lack of buzz surrounding this Takeover.
Ross comments on the reports that the XFL has interest from multiple television networks. This news doesn’t surprise him, especially since two major networks are already involved with WWE through RAW and Smackdown and they might want to strengthen that connection.

Ross notes that at 41 years of age, Sheamus looks great. His tag team partner, Cesaro, is a freak, and if WWE is serious about building a tag team division that can compete with the women’s division in terms of popularity, you’d think Sheamus and Cesaro would be two key pieces in making that happen. There’s no doubt in Ross’ mind that if WWE wanted to elevate their tag team division they could, but it doesn’t seem to be a priority right now.
A listener writes into the show and asks Ross about his memories of the Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness character. Ross says he recalls being apprehensive about the Undertaker’s character change at that time, because the original character was still working.
Undertaker also hadn’t cut many promos in the several years prior to the change so Ross was concerned about Mark Calaway’s promo ability. Nonetheless, his apprehension was unnecessary as the Undertaker character has changed multiple times in the last two decades and it always worked out.
