Jim Ross successfully underwent surgery for colon cancer back in May and he’s been on the road to recovery since then. Fans have also been wondering if Ross will actually work the All In: Texas event and now Ross has confirmed he’ll be there for the show.

While speaking on Grilling JR, Jim Ross stated that his health is good, he’s cancer-free, and he’s feeling well. He explained he had a small scheduling mix-up that was his own fault. He was supposed to appear at the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville, but that won’t be happening because he’ll be in Texas instead.

“My health’s good. I’m cancer free. I’m feeling good. I had a little booking conflict that was my fault. I was supposed to go to Knoxville to the Fanboy Expo, which is not going to happen simply because I’ll be in Texas.”

Conrad Thomson then pointed out that since Jim would be in Texas, it sounded like he might be heading to AEW’s first stadium show in America, All In.

“But you said you’ll be in Texas. So I think that means, if I’m reading the tea leaves here, is it official, Jim? Are you going to be at All In, AEW’s first stadium show here in America?”

Jim Ross confirmed he’ll be at All In: Texas, saying he had just mixed up the dates. He admitted it was on him for not lining things up properly, but made it clear he would be there. He plans to fly in on Thursday, handle some business on Friday for Starrcast, and then be at the pay-per-view on Saturday.

“Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. I just got the dates screwed up. That’s my fault. It just didn’t line up for me. But yeah, I’ll be there. I’m going to fly in on Thursday, do our business on Friday for Starrcast, and then I’ll be at the pay-per-view on Saturday.”

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Good ol’ JR will be calling the action at All In: Texas. Now it just remains to be seen which matches he will end up calling at the event, as excitement has reached an all time high now.
