Jim Cornette didn’t hold back following Donald Trump’s latest State of the Union address — and this time, his reaction came just hours after the speech ended.

Within hours of the speech ending, Cornette took to Twitter on February 25, 2026, making it clear that he was furious over what he had just watched. Cornette described Trump’s address in harsh terms, calling him an obnoxious, babbling fool and accusing him of deflecting blame while embarrassing the country on a global stage.

“Last night, instead of a leader, we got to listen to an obnoxious, babbling fool in obvious mental decline spew forth a bukkake of lies, bull**it and grievances, blaming others for his criminality and incompetence while embarrassing all of America in front of the world--AGAIN.”

Cornette’s rant came in response to a State of the Union address that ran nearly two hours and featured claims about the country’s trajectory. During the speech, Trump declared, “Our nation is back – bigger, better, richer and stronger than ever before,” while pointing to what he described as falling inflation, increased domestic production, and renewed American strength.

The President also leaned heavily into immigration and crime, telling lawmakers, “The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens,” and accusing Democrats of harming the country. The address was marked by chants of “USA! USA!” from Republican lawmakers and visible protests from several Democrats inside the chamber.

This also isn’t the first time Cornette has publicly gone after Trump. In recent months, he has criticized federal actions tied to immigration enforcement, mocked Trump’s public appearances, and even offered $5,000 to a Ford worker who publicly insulted Trump during a plant visit. So it’s clear Cornette will not stop going after Trump anytime soon.
