Jillian Hall just peeled back the curtain on her WWE run, and it’s clear she has no problem telling the truth about how things went down.

During a conversation with Ring The Belle, the former Divas Champion opened up about her in-ring abilities being stifled by WWE’s creative direction — and how fans only saw a fraction of what she could actually do. When asked whether she felt her wrestling skills were underrated, Jillian didn’t hesitate:

“Oh, for sure. They dumbed me down when I got to the main roster. If you watch before WWE, you would see more of a wrestler than you saw in WWE.”

Hall explained that she entered WWE with a more athletic style, but once she was called up, she found herself stuck in a cycle of “basic stuff” and short matches. She specifically pointed to her matches with Gail Kim on WWE Superstars as rare moments where she could finally show fans what she was capable of — but even then, it wasn’t on the flagship show.

“She and I could have done some amazing things together had we been given the opportunity. But unfortunately we were given six minutes on Superstars here and there.”

She didn’t hold back about the lack of exposure, either:

“It’s sad they didn’t even put it on RAW… it’s like no shade to Superstars or anything. It’s just that wasn’t the main show. They just didn’t give me a chance, you know.”

Jillian might’ve been known for her off-key singing and outrageous gimmicks, but behind the scenes, she was a real one with the skills to back it up. WWE may have handed her a plastic mole and a karaoke mic, but Jillian Hall knew she could’ve delivered so much more if they’d just let her loose. And now, she’s not staying quiet about it.
