Jey Uso has made it abundantly clear that he’s just tired of people underestimating him, as he has just gone after those who claim he’s nothing more than an entrance.

While speaking on RAW Recap, Jey Uso explained that nothing about him has really changed. He still enjoys entertaining fans every Monday and connecting with the audience, but when it’s time to compete, he changes into a more serious mindset. With major hitters like CM Punk, GUNTHER standing in his way, he just doesn’t take things lightly now.

“Nothing really changed with me, Uce. I still throw a party every Monday and love the kids — I still yeet with them. It’s just, man, when the bell rings, I gotta switch it up. I got big hitters in front of me like CM Punk, GUNTHER, Seth Rollins… I got a heavy list ahead of me. I just can’t play anymore.”

Jey Uso expressed frustration with people who claim he’s only known for his entrance or lacks the skills to be a top guy. Jey made it clear that he’s constantly working to prove himself, having already won the World Heavyweight Title and established himself as one of the main stars on Monday Night Raw.

“I’m really tired and sick of people saying I’m just an entrance or whatever — that I don’t have the skills to hold it down at the top. So I switch modes. I just feel like winning the World Heavyweight Title, going out on my own, succeeding, being a top guy on Monday Night Raw… man, I still feel like I haven’t gotten my flowers. Like I’m still trying to prove myself.”

Jey Uso said he’s tired of people disrespecting him. He works hard every week and always gives his best, but he feels like people still don’t notice or appreciate what he does. Uso made it really clear that he wants that to change.

“I’m tired of everybody talking down on my name, man. I go hard every single week. Every week I bring it to the table, and I still feel like I’m being overlooked and disrespected. That’s gotta stop.”

Jey Uso is heading to Saturday Night’s Main Event for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, as he’ll square off against CM Punk to crown the new champion. So we’ll just have to see whether Uso will manage to beat the Best in the World and prove to his haters that he is truly main event material.
