Jey Uso just made it clear that he isn’t losing sleep over being labeled “Most Overrated Wrestler of the Year.”
After the Wrestling Observer Newsletter released its 2025 Year-End Awards on February 13 — which included Booker T topping the Worst Television Announcer category and WWE being voted Worst Promotion of the Year — another result quickly grabbed attention: Jey Uso being named Most Overrated Wrestler.
On February 14, 2026, Jey Uso took to his Instagram Story to respond. Instead of firing back or getting defensive, he brushed it off with a short message: “Ya’ll really love me.” He didn’t go on a rant or have a breakdown. Just a shrug in text form.
The reaction comes after a very divisive 2025 for the Yeetman. He won the Royal Rumble, then went on to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 — two major accomplishments that also got a ton of backlash. While many celebrated his push as a singles star, others questioned the booking and whether he was even the right choice for that spot.
Uso has leaned into crowd reactions throughout his singles run, whether cheers or boos, and this latest label doesn’t appear to be changing that approach. So it’s clear Uso couldn’t care less if people find him overrated at all.
