Jey Uso just got a brutal reminder that friendships don’t last long on the road to WrestleMania.

During WWE’s Road to WrestleMania live event in Vienna, Austria, Uso squared off with Ludwig Kaiser in what looked like a standard singles match… until it wasn’t. Right before the bell, Kaiser appeared to offer a rare moment of sportsmanship—joining Jey in doing the “Yeet” catchphrase and even shaking his hand. But seconds later, the smile disappeared and Kaiser kicked Uso in the midsection, proving once again that the road to the big stage is paved with betrayal.

Despite the cheap shot, Jey Uso rallied and walked away with the W, keeping his momentum alive as he barrels toward the biggest match of his career: a World Heavyweight Championship showdown with Gunther at WrestleMania 41.

Jey’s nerves have been showing in recent weeks, and he hasn’t hidden it. On the RAW Recap, Uso admitted the pressure is eating at him. “All I know is I’m just trying to stay above water as every day goes by, leading closer to WrestleMania,” he said. “I ain’t never had this kind of mindset… But I really feel like enough with all the bright colors, enough with trying to entertain, I don’t know. All I know is, at WrestleMania, I have to beat Gunther because if I don’t beat Gunther, that’s it for Jey Uso. So, everything’s on the line right now.”

This isn’t just a title shot—it’s a fight for Jey’s future, and it’s becoming clear he knows what’s at stake. With betrayals, mind games, and self-doubt creeping in, the Yeetman is being tested like never before.
