Je’von Evans might still be early in his WWE journey, but he’s already getting advice from one of the sharpest minds in the business — Paul Heyman.
During his appearance with Bootleg Kev, the conversation turned to Heyman’s legendary reputation as a manager and storyteller. Kev pointed out how Heyman always seems to be helping talent improve behind the scenes and asked Evans directly if he had received any guidance since arriving on the main roster. Evans didn’t hesitate to confirm that Heyman has been a major source of advice — and that he actively seeks him out whenever he can.
“Oh, it's on. Yeah. Oh, it's on. And I go to him. I ask him for advice, you know what I mean? He puts me on, bro. He be giving me all these like hidden gems, you know, that that nobody really be like thinking about. You know, it it's honestly like the small stuff and like the storytelling. So he he always puts me on and and you know? Hopefully hopefully if he turns into a good guy, a little good manager, we get something that works.”
For a rising talent like Evans, having direct access to Heyman’s knowledge could prove to be one of the biggest advantages he has moving forward. Many of WWE’s top stars credit Heyman for helping refine their characters and sharpen their delivery, and it sounds like Evans is already tapping into that same guidance.
Je’von Evans is already stacking up experience at a young age, but having Paul Heyman feeding him behind-the-scenes advice could push him even further than expected. If he continues soaking up those “hidden gems,” it might only be a matter of time before fans start seeing the results in a major way on WWE television.
