Je’Von Evans isn’t wasting any time making moments—and one of his biggest came under the brightest lights imaginable.
During John Cena’s farewell event, Evans teamed with Leon Slater in a tag match against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. With a massive crowd and high expectations, the young star soaked in the atmosphere—and delivered. Evans described the rush he felt as his entrance music hit and he walked out to a packed arena.
“I remember hearing my music walking out… I walked out and just saw the crowd, like 20,000 plus people… I was like, ‘Yo, we’re about to go crazy.’”
Seeing AJ Styles and Dragon Lee step through the curtain only added to the adrenaline. But once the bell rang, it was all business.
“Being in the ring with Leon, and then seeing AJ Styles and Dragon Lee walk down, it was an insane feeling… but when that bell rung, we had to do what we had to do.”
Evans continues to impress with every opportunity thrown his way. Sharing the ring with legends like AJ Styles this early in his career is no small feat—but Evans didn’t flinch. He embraced the pressure, thrived in the moment, and walked out knowing the fans felt the energy too.
