The red brand just got a major boost.

During the January 5, 2026 episode of WWE RAW, Je’Von Evans officially signed with the RAW brand—marking a major step in his already fast-rising WWE career. The announcement came in a segment that aired during a commercial break, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce presented Evans with a contract in front of the live crowd at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

With a pen stroke and a handshake, Evans became the newest official member of the RAW roster, ending his run as a free agent who had been bouncing between brands. Up to this point, Evans had competed across RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, gaining momentum and attention wherever he went.

His most recent NXT match came on December 30, when he fell short against Ricky Saints. But that loss didn’t slow his climb.

In fact, just before RAW went live, Evans delivered al performance in a WWE Main Event match, defeating Julius Creed with a springboard cutter that had the Brooklyn crowd on its feet. The victory only fueled speculation that WWE had big plans for the NXT breakout star—and those plans were confirmed just hours later.

Evans’ signing adds more firepower to an already stacked RAW roster and comes at a time when WWE is aggressively spotlighting fresh talent. With recent call-ups like Trick Williams and Oba Femi already making noise, Je’Von Evans could be next in line to make a major impact in 2026.
