Je’Von Evans may not have captured the NXT Championship during his time on the brand, but he isn’t losing sleep over it. Instead of looking at the missed opportunity as a setback, the rising WWE star is already focused on what comes next — and he believes that could mean winning his very first championship on the main roster.

During a conversation with Adrian Hernandez on Unruly, Evans was asked directly whether it bothered him that he never held the NXT Championship before advancing further into WWE opportunities. While he admitted it would have been a meaningful accomplishment, he made it clear that the situation hasn’t shaken his confidence or slowed his ambitions.

Evans explained that winning the NXT Championship would have added another achievement to his resume, especially heading into the main roster environment, but he sees the bigger picture now.

“I wouldn't say like it matters to me. I feel like that's just something that I could have accomplished and I think it would have helped me have like a little — not like a crunch or anything — but accomplishment, you know what I mean? Like an achievement under my belt. Especially leading and going into main roster. But I feel like at the same time like now it only means that like my first WWE title is going to be a main roster title, you know? So at the end of the day, bro, like I'm just ready for whatever, bro.”

Rather than dwelling on what didn’t happen, Evans is already thinking about the championships he could win next. He rattled off a list of major titles that he believes are within reach, showing confidence that his career trajectory is still climbing.

“You know, I didn't get the NXT Championship, but it's okay. All right, 'cause now I'm either going to get IC Championship, the US Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Championship, tag team champion. It don't matter. You feel me?”

Even without the NXT Championship on his résumé, Evans is clearly positioning himself as a future title contender. Whether that means chasing the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship, or even a world title, his message is simple — the next big moment is still ahead.

As Evans continues building momentum, the bigger question is not what he missed, but what he wins next. If his confidence translates into championship success, skipping the NXT title could end up being just a footnote in a much larger story.

What do you think about Je’Von Evans skipping the NXT Championship and aiming straight for gold on WWE’s main roster? Do you see him winning a major title soon? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
