Jelly Roll isn’t done inside the ring—not by a long shot. The chart-topping singer-turned-WWE competitor wants more than just a guest spot. After teaming with Randy Orton at SummerSlam in a losing effort against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre, the star is now calling for a full-blown run with WWE.
During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Jelly Roll made it clear that he’s not satisfied with a one-off performance. He wants to lace up his boots again and commit to an extended stretch in WWE.
“I’m in the company, but I’m also not in the company. But I want to run it back — I want to do more. I get why Bad Bunny did Backlash now, because I know he walked out of the ring that night realizing how much more he could give.”
Jelly Roll said the experience left him with unfinished business, and now he’s thinking much bigger—possibly wrestling every week.
“Do I want a singles match this time? I don’t know. I just know that one great scenario is that I’d like to get involved for a run. I’d like to wrestle every Friday — I’d like to get involved in a 6–9 month run. But I definitely gotta do one more, though, man, just because like anything else in life — you did it once, and you think you were prepared, but you weren’t. You leave there… all I could think about is knowing everything I could have done better.”
The Grammy winner also admitted he wasn’t completely comfortable in the ring until right before SummerSlam, but now he’s all in on improving his performance and embracing the physical side of pro wrestling.
“I just started getting comfortable taking bumps the week we went out for SummerSlam. Now I feel so much more at ease taking full-blown clotheslines — there’s just so much more I can do.”
With his sights set on a longer WWE stint, it’s clear Jelly Roll isn’t chasing a moment—he’s chasing a real run. Whether it’s a weekly commitment or one more high-profile showdown, fans should expect to see him back inside a WWE ring sooner rather than later.
