Jelly Roll isn’t done with WWE just yet—and now he’s bringing the action to late-night TV.
Jelly Roll is stepping in as guest host for Jimmy Kimmel Live this Wednesday night, and he’s not doing it alone. Randy Orton will be one of the featured guests, setting the stage for what could be a major WWE angle just days before SummerSlam.
This all comes after Jelly Roll got physical at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. The country music star stood in Randy Orton’s corner during his match against Drew McIntyre. Logan Paul backed McIntyre, and things erupted when Paul and Jelly Roll started throwing hands. Jelly Roll got the better of the exchange, tossing Paul aside and landing a solid right hand that knocked him out of the ring.
The celebration didn’t last long. McIntyre blindsided Jelly Roll with a Claymore Kick, leaving the singer laid out in the ring. That moment alone had fans speculating about whether Jelly Roll could show up at SummerSlam. Now, with Jelly Roll hosting Kimmel and Orton in the guest seat, that speculation is growing louder.
PWInsider reached out to a few sources about what to expect during the episode. One source simply replied, “Of course” when asked if an angle will play out.
With that kind of response, it’s safe to say WWE is cooking something for SummerSlam—and this Kimmel appearance might be the kickoff.
