Jelly Roll lost a ton of weight, and he got himself in shape for WWE. He had unfinished business in pro wrestling, and he’s back for more on the road to WrestleMania.

The March 20 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. This was a big night on the road to WrestleMania, and Jelly Roll was included.

Jelly Roll is becoming a mainstay in WWE. The rapper-turned-country superstar stepped into WWE’s bright lights again last week. This week, Kit Wilson called him out.

Before he spoke to Kit Wilson, Jelly Roll had a heart-to-heart moment with Randy Orton backstage. He spoke about the man that he knows, and how Orton’s new shift into darkness isn’t him. He said that the real Orton knows that money comes and goes, but family stays. Then Jelly Roll said that Orton should find Matt Cardona and make things right with him after he punched him earlier in the show.

That led to Kit Wilson coming out to the ring. He immediately called out Jelly Roll, and he came out to the same Toby Keith song as before. Jelly Roll was ready to have a match, but Kit Wilson wanted to have a slam poetry battle.

Jelly Roll wasn’t about that, and he was shocked that Kit Wilson brought a book to read from. Wilson brought up Jelly Roll’s criminal past and losing weight, as he looks like “a melted blob of skin.” He also called Jelly Roll “fatphobic” and toxic before accusing him of being on Ozempic. The lines were fire, especially the one about how Jelly Roll might be able to see his “little willy” now that he’s lost 300 pounds.

Then Jelly Roll proceeded to destroy Kit Wilson’s smother and so much more. After that, Kit Wilson attacked Jelly Roll. Then he hit him with a top rope move, and Jelly Roll took the bump. The segment ended with Jelly Roll selling on the canvas. Only time will tell where he ends up on the WrestleMania card at this point.
