Jeff Jarrett may be working for AEW now, but that’s not stopping him from weighing in on WWE and TNA’s new working relationship. As one of TNA’s original founders back in 2002, Jarrett has a unique perspective on the multi-year partnership that will see NXT stars appear in TNA and vice versa.

Speaking on Fanrun Radio in Tennessee, Jarrett shared his thoughts on the deal, making it clear that he sees this type of collaboration as the future of the wrestling business. “A wise man builds his house upon a rock,” he said. “Way, way back in the day, when TNA got started in 2002, that name and the branding was built, and it’s gone through a lot of evolutions. You kind of see what you built.”

Jarrett, who also launched Global Force Wrestling, has long been a believer in promotions working together, and he thinks WWE and TNA teaming up is the right move. “The days of not really working together and that type mindset is so yesteryear and passé,” he explained. “At the end of the day, if you create a scenario where the wrestling fans win, we all win.”

He emphasized that keeping fans happy should always be the top priority in business. “At the very core of all of it, you have to figure out how you satisfy your customer, what a novel concept these days, but the customer is always right. If it’s good for the customer, it’s incumbent on the business to figure out how to adapt and make it work for the bottom line.”

With WWE and TNA now working together, Jeff Jarrett’s take on the partnership hits hard—times have changed, and the old “every promotion for itself” mindset is long gone. Whether this deal brings long-term success or fizzles out, one thing’s clear: fans are getting matches they never thought possible. Now, it’s just a matter of seeing who steps up and takes advantage of this new wrestling landscape.
