The Hardys may have been away from WWE as a team since 2019, but that hasn’t stopped Jeff Hardy from dreaming up some epic matchups. In a recent interview with Dope Kontent Entertainment, Jeff revealed two dream matches that have been on his mind as he and his brother Matt continue their storied careers.
The first match Jeff is eager to have? A one-on-one showdown with Roman Reigns. Despite both men being major stars in WWE, they’ve never shared a singles match, and Hardy sees it as a major bucket-list moment.
“Roman Reigns is a pretty big dream match of mine,” Jeff said. “We’ve never had a singles match against each other.”
But Jeff’s ambitions don’t stop at singles competition—he’s also got his eye on a tag-team dream match against the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins), calling them wrestlers he deeply admires.
“As far as a tag team, I’m hung up on the Street Profits. I really admire those guys. I’d love to see that happen.”
The Hardys have never faced the Street Profits, and Jeff sees it as a perfect opportunity to add another layer to the legacy of The Hardy Boyz. Jeff didn’t stop there. He also expressed interest in a cinematic match with The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso), imagining a scene set in an old, abandoned prison.
“It’s on my bucket list, with the Usos, a cinematic match in the Uso penitentiary. Go to an old abandoned prison and have a killer cinematic match.”
The Hardys faced the Usos once on TV in 2019 on SmackDown, but Jeff is clearly excited about the possibilities for a more cinematic and intense clash.
With those dream matches on his radar, Jeff Hardy remains as motivated as ever to create new, unforgettable moments in pro wrestling. Meanwhile, the Hardys will defend their TNA Tag Team Titles against The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) at TNA Genesis, further solidifying their place as one of wrestling’s all-time greatest duos.
