Jeff Hardy has been with TNA for several months, but fans still fondly remember his time as the Willow character in the early 2010s, which many considered to be his most unique gimmick. Interestingly enough, Hardy has now confirmed that he is taking steps to revive the Willow character in TNA,
While speaking to The Wrestle Spot, Jeff Hardy revealed that he has already taken steps toward bringing back the Willow character in TNA. He shared that he and his oldest daughter designed a new faceplate for the mask, which was made by a craftsman in Hillsboro, North Carolina.
Although he hasn’t picked it up yet, Hardy is excited to try it on. If it feels right, he plans to make a Willow promo on social media. He expressed his excitement about reviving Willow in TNA, promising that it will be much better than before.
“I’ve been talking about that a lot, man. In Hillsboro, North Carolina, there’s a new Willow mask. Me and my oldest daughter designed a new faceplate, and he got it and made the mask. I just haven’t picked it up yet. But man, once I get there and try it on, if it feels good, I can’t wait to bust out a Willow promo on social media or something. I’m super excited about bringing Willow back to TNA, man. It’ll be so much better than it was before.”
While The Charismatic Enigma was unable to bring back his Willow character in AEW, it’s evident he is trying to ensure he can revive the character and improve it during his current TNA run. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see when fans will see the return of Willow, as it would certainly change things up in a big way for Hardy.
