Just hours before WWE Backlash kicks off in St. Louis, new details have emerged about Jeff Cobb’s potential involvement in the event. Despite posting a video from Los Angeles and hinting that he’s far from Missouri, Cobb might still be set to make a big splash at the show.

According to Fightful Select, “Jeff Cobb has absolutely been discussed for WWE Backlash. As of Friday, he was planned for the show.” The report also notes, “Cobb had been discussed for involvement with a Bloodline-related story at one point.”

Cobb’s cryptic behavior on social media has only fueled speculation. In a video posted earlier today, he claimed to be in LA, saying, “Just finished a sweet workout and I can’t believe after so many years of going to LA, this was my first time going here!”

When a fan suggested he should be in St. Louis for Backlash, Cobb replied, “I always left Missouri for summer break around mid-May. Someday I’ll experience Missouri in late May lol.”

With rumors swirling about Cobb’s possible debut and ties to a Bloodline storyline, fans are left wondering whether the former NJPW star is truly in LA or simply throwing everyone off the scent.
