Paige Collett, known on the independent scene as Black Dahlia or to JCW fans as Ring Rat, made a bold claim during her recent appearance on Going Ringside — she says WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi personally gave her permission to use one of his most famous moves.

While speaking with Scott Johnson, Collett reflected on her training under Rikishi and how it shaped her wrestling persona. She confirmed that the former WWE star was one of her main coaches and credited him for helping develop her character. She first explained her connection to Rikishi and where her gimmick originated.

“Yes. That's one of my main coaches. That's actually where I get the whole gimmick from.”

When the host jokingly asked if she had “taken Rikishi’s gimmick,” Collett clarified that she didn’t just copy it — she says she received direct approval.

“Well, my coach actually gave me permission to use the stink face, so.”

She then doubled down, claiming she holds a unique distinction among his students.

“I am not only the one student he gave permission to perform permission to use the stink face, but I'm also the first ever female in history to wield a chainsaw, so.”

Rikishi’s Stink Face became one of the most memorable moves of the Attitude Era, and over the years he has rarely allowed others to replicate it in the same way. Collett’s statement suggests she received a personal green light from the Hall of Famer himself — something that could instantly give credibility to her character on the independent circuit.

Collett has recently been open about her journey through injury and recovery, and this latest comment adds another layer to her wrestling identity as she prepares for a return to the ring.

Do you think Rikishi giving her permission to use the Stink Face adds legitimacy to Paige Collett’s character, or should that move remain exclusive to the Hall of Famer? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you think.
