Every former WWE Superstar has their own story about why they are no longer in the company. For Jazmyn Nyx, it all came down to money. After all, money makes the world go around, and Nyx wanted to be compensated for her time.

Jazmyn Nyx left WWE NXT following a financial disagreement regarding a proposed three-year contract. She stated that the offer she received did not reflect the workload she was taking on, including wrestling for both TNA and NXT on some weekends, and her new deal didn’t reflect everything she’d put in after being on television for two years.

Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Jazymn Nyx described the negotiation process as drawn out, but WWE refused to budge on their lowball offer. Although she attempted to go back-and-forth with WWE several times, that dollar amount didn’t go up.

She also shot down a report saying that WWE offered her more money. As Jazymn Nyx tells her own story, WWE did not come back with a higher number that she could have accepted.

The offer stood as it was. We went back a couple of times, like ‘oh, what about this?’ No- offer stands. I’m like, ‘okay.’

Nyx has already confirmed she would consider a return to WWE if a better offer came her way. For now, she remains focused on new ventures while clarifying the terms of her departure and addressing misinformation surrounding the negotiation process.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Jazmyn Nyx. She still has a lot of years in the pro wrestling world, if she decides to go in that direction. Then again, she could always return to soccer, a sport that consumed her life for well over a decade prior to stepping in the square circle.
