Javier Bernal was released by WWE a month ago and it truly came as a shock to many, since Bernal had a lot left to prove to the world. That’s not all as Bernal has now admitted he cried for an hour after he was released.

While speaking to Scott’s Scoop, Javier Bernal talked about his WWE release, saying he was in the shower washing his hair when he got the call. After getting out, he saw what had happened.

Bernal’s wife Tatum Paxley was on the phone and took the news even harder than he did since she was sobbing, and he felt like he had to be the strong one for a while. Bernal admitted he was angry and frustrated.

“I’ll tell you this much. I was in the shower when I got the call. I was washing my hair. And I’m like, oh, great. So, of course, I got out and saw it. My wife was on the phone with me. My wife had a worse reaction than I did. She was sobbing and all that. I just had to be strong for a little bit. I was mad. You know, I was mad. I was pissed off.”

Despite having support from big names like John Cena and Booker T who spoke highly of him, Bernal still felt upset. But after allowing himself to be mad for about an hour, he got back to work. He knew life doesn’t stop just because wrestling did, so he gave himself an hour to cry and then focused on moving forward.

“The same sentiment as before, I have people like John Cena and Booker T putting me over. I was mad for a minute, but after a while, it’s like back to work. I gave myself an hour to be mad, and then I got to work because I couldn’t just stop. Life doesn’t stop when this stops. So, I gave myself an hour to cry, and then we got to work. That was kind of where I went with that.”

While it’s still unknown where Javier Bernal will go next in his wrestling career, one thing is clear, he’s determined to keep moving forward. For now, fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for him.
