Matt Riddle just caught some serious heat from Jasmin St. Claire, and she definitely wasn’t trying to be polite about it. According to St. Claire, Riddle got dropped during a JCW match and basically acted like nothing happened — something she sees as a major violation of basic wrestling etiquette.
During the October 6 edition of Off the Rails, St. Claire was talking with Choppa City when Riddle’s name came up. That’s when she claimed Riddle failed to properly sell something Bishop did to him during a JCW appearance.
St. Claire immediately put Riddle on blast and even told Choppa City she hoped they eventually got a chance to light him up with their trademark chops.
“I hope y’all get a chance to chop Matt Riddle cuz that [expletive], I swear to God, he was at a show. He didn’t sell when he got dropped.”
And she wasn’t treating this like some tiny backstage complaint. St. Claire said selling is about respecting the person you’re working with and actually making what happens in the ring matter.
“That’s one thing, you know, you got to sell for people. You got to put people over and [expletive] like that, you know, especially when it’s veterans or people who’ve been around longer. You don’t do that.”
Then St. Claire named Bishop as the wrestler involved and made it crystal clear how she felt about Riddle brushing off the spot.
“Bishop dropped him and he didn’t sell for Bishop, which I think is just a sin.”
Choppa City didn’t exactly rush to defend Riddle either. Instead, they joked that they’d be more than happy to chop him themselves, which only made the whole exchange even more savage. Pasted text
Riddle has already crossed paths with JCW several times, including his spot in the JCW Strangle-Mania 2026 four-way elimination match for the JCW World Championship. That means St. Claire wasn’t just taking a random shot from the sidelines — she was talking about something she says happened right inside the promotion.
At the end of the day, St. Claire’s message was pretty simple: if somebody drops you, you sell it. She clearly felt Riddle didn’t do that for Bishop, and she had zero problem dragging the issue into the open while Choppa City sat there ready to pile on.
Now the big question is whether Riddle lets this one go or decides to answer back. Either way, Jasmin St. Claire just turned an old-school wrestling gripe into a very public callout.
What do you think about Jasmin St. Claire ripping Matt Riddle for not selling for Bishop? Was she right to call him out publicly, or should this kind of thing stay backstage? Leave your feedback in the comments below.
