Janel Grant is taking her fight beyond her personal experience, making it clear she believes the issue at the center of her case goes much deeper than one situation involving WWE, Vince McMahon, and a non-disclosure agreement.

During her statement, Grant shifted focus from her own story to what she sees as a larger problem in workplace environments. According to her, NDAs don’t just protect companies — they can prevent serious issues from ever being exposed, allowing harmful patterns to continue unchecked. She explained that when employees are unable to speak openly, it creates a system where warning signs are missed and accountability becomes nearly impossible.

“Workplace safety depends on transparency because when employees cannot speak, patterns can’t be seen. When patterns can’t be seen, they can’t be stopped. When they can’t be stopped, harm spreads.”

Grant continued by describing how she believes NDAs can move problems around rather than resolve them, putting others at risk in the process.

“When an NDA is used to conceal dangerous behavior, it simply relocates the harm to the next employee, the next office, the next victim. No one should be required to trade silence for accountability.”

She also raised a broader concern about priorities inside major organizations, questioning whether institutions are being protected at the expense of the people working within them.

“And no workplace should be able to become safer for an institution than the people inside of it.”

Grant’s comments frame her situation as part of a much bigger conversation about transparency, accountability, and how companies handle internal issues when they become public. Her message suggests that without change, the same patterns she describes could continue affecting others in similar environments.

As the legal battle continues, this perspective adds to the case, shifting attention toward how NDAs are used and whether they should be reevaluated in situations involving alleged misconduct.
