Jakara Jackson has officially been released from WWE NXT, just days after being split from her Meta-Four tag team partner Lash Legend on Tuesday’s episode of NXT. The timing of her exit has left fans stunned, especially given her active role on TV leading up to the cut.
Jackson, real name Briana Brandy, signed with WWE in 2021 and trained at the Performance Center before making her way onto NXT Level Up and eventually NXT TV. She rose to prominence as part of Meta-Four, a faction alongside Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, and Lash Legend. Jackson brought serious charisma to the group, often shining in backstage segments and promos, even when she wasn’t featured in the ring.
While her in-ring appearances were limited, her presence in the women’s tag division and as a supporting act for the Heritage Cup stories made her a familiar face to the NXT audience. Her split from Lash Legend this week now looks like a quiet send-off before her exit became public.
PWInsider confirmed Jackson’s release as part of WWE’s ongoing internal cuts following WrestleMania 41.
Jackson took to Twitter and reacted to the news, writing: “Always BEEN and always GON be bout that mothafkn ACTION.”
With her character work and promo skills already proven, Jackson could easily turn heads in another promotion—if she chooses to keep wrestling.
