John Cena kicked off the March 17 episode of WWE RAW by calling out the WWE Universe for being ungrateful for 25 years, despite him sacrificing everything to entertain them. Quite a few people didn’t really agree with what John Cena had to say in his promo but it appears Jaida Parker isn’t one of them, as she defended Cena and completely understands his perspective.

While speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Jaida Parker was asked about John Cena’s scathing promo on Raw and how he called out fans for being ungrateful among other things.

Jaida Parker defended John Cena, making it clear that she agrees with what John Cena said on Raw about fans being ungrateful. She understands his point because everyone has been in that situation before.

Parker thinks people change their minds too quickly—one minute they cheer for you, the next they boo. To her, Cena is just saying he’s not trying to make everyone happy and that he had a purpose before people started judging him. If someone doesn’t like it, she says they should talk to their mom about it.

“I’m not a heel, I’m a human being,” and I completely agree. I wanted to tweet that I see nothing wrong with what he’s saying because we’ve all been in that situation. I get where he’s coming from—people can be ungrateful. One minute they praise you, the next they boo you. It’s hypocritical. He’s basically saying, “I’m not here to please you. I had a purpose before you had an opinion.” And honestly, if you don’t like it, go talk to your mama about it.”

In his promo, John Cena told fans they had treated him badly for 25 years, bullying him into being what they wanted while expecting him to smile. When he said their time to talk was over, they got even louder, chanting against him. He said he wasn’t a babyface or a heel, he was just a human being, and no matter how much he gave, it was never enough. Cena blamed fans for ruining his retirement tour, saying they only take and don’t deserve anything.

Things got even more heated when Cody Rhodes interrupted. Cody told Cena that the fans gave him their best for 25 years because they believed in him. When Cena tried to reply, Cody cut him off and said, “I want to wrestle the old Cena at WrestleMania 41, not this whiny b****.” The crowd went wild, and Cena left the ring in silence while they kept chanting “na na na na, hey hey, goodbye.”

Fightful Select also reported that WWE officials were incredibly pleased with how the segment played out since John Cena received a ton of reactions. Regardless, Jaida Parker simply made it clear she completely agrees with John Cena’s perspective and others will likely say the same thing as well. With WrestleMania 41 approaching, it remains to be seen how WWE will book Cody Rhodes and John Cena’s feud in the coming weeks.
