Jade Cargill is raising a little powerhouse of her own — and the apple clearly didn’t fall far from the tree.
During her appearance on Busted Open Radio, the WWE Superstar shared a hilarious and unexpected story about her young daughter trying out wrestling moves in real life… at school.
“She loves wrestling. She actually — we get in trouble about it a lot. I was just over there saying how my daughter speared a kid in class, and I was happy for her. Yeah, she speared a kid in class — I give a great spear, by the way. But like, she did a great job. I was happy. But it’s like, ‘Don’t do that, don’t do that, don’t do that.’”
Cargill admitted that her daughter’s enthusiasm for wrestling might’ve gone a little too far, but deep down, she was impressed. That said, the WWE star made it clear she’s hoping her daughter picks a different path — at least for now.
“She aspires to be a wrestler. I don’t want it to happen. I want her to get a great education. And then if that’s something she wants to do later in life, I’m OK. I’m down.”
The conversation quickly turned to legacy and impact. The hosts pointed out that Cargill — alongside stars like Rhea Ripley — has sparked real inspiration among young fans, especially girls. Cargill took that to heart, reflecting on her own childhood and the women who paved the way for her.
“Thank you. I’d love to hear that. No problem. You know, I want to inspire little girls out there to do whatever they want to do in life. So that feels really good — just like Chyna inspired me. You know, I looked up to her. I didn’t see a woman who was fit and buff like me. And I was like, ‘Damn, she’s out there. She’s owning it. Her head is high, and she’s just kicking ass.’ And I was like, ‘That’s what I want to be like.’ I love that.”
From schoolyard spears to WWE arenas, it’s clear that Cargill’s impact is already being felt by the next generation — starting with her own kid.
