Jade Cargill has broken her silence following the outcome of the Women’s Elimination Chamber match—and her reaction is already raising eyebrows.
After Rhea Ripley secured her spot at WrestleMania 42 by winning the brutal Elimination Chamber match on February 28, WWE quickly confirmed the result on social media. Ripley’s victory officially positioned her as the next challenger for Cargill on the biggest stage of the year.
Cargill didn’t take long to respond. Rather than celebrating the matchup or expressing concern, she delivered a short, blunt message that spoke volumes about her mindset heading into WrestleMania:
“I guess she’ll do…”
The comment came in response to WWE’s announcement celebrating Ripley’s WrestleMania qualification, and the dismissive tone immediately caught attention. It suggests that Cargill may not view Ripley as a major threat—or at least wants to project that level of confidence publicly.
Ripley earned her opportunity by outlasting Tiffany Stratton and four other competitors inside the unforgiving steel structure in Chicago. The win capped off a physically demanding performance and positioned her for one of the biggest matches of her career.
Cargill, however, clearly isn’t intimidated.
Her reaction reinforces the dominant persona she has carried since arriving in WWE, presenting herself as the measuring stick of the women’s division. With WrestleMania 42 now set to feature Cargill vs. Ripley, the tone between the two stars is already being established—and it’s clear mutual respect may not be part of the equation.
Do you think Jade Cargill is underestimating Rhea Ripley, or is she justified in her confidence heading into WrestleMania 42?
