Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace aren’t waiting for a match to throw down—they’re doing it on Twitter.
On January 24, 2026, Grace took a direct shot at the reigning WWE Women’s World Champion by posting a face-off photo from their recent SmackDown segment with the caption: “Only a matter of time, Jadeberg.”
The nickname “Jadeberg” wasn’t subtle. It echoed long-standing fan criticism about Cargill’s matches being short and dominant, drawing a clear comparison to Goldberg—whose quick squash bouts made him famous but also controversial, especially after he legitimately injured opponents in the ring. Cargill didn’t let the jab slide. Soon after, she clapped back with, “Did you take your shot today? Relax.”
And she followed that up with an even more cutting comment that had fans laughing and wincing at the same time, “She sounds like a smoker 💅🏾😂”
The feud between the two has been heating up fast ever since Grace made her WWE main roster debut on SmackDown in Berlin. Their backstage confrontation ended with Jade declaring, “I’m that b***,”* which many fans saw as the start of a major showdown between the two powerhouses.
This latest online exchange has only poured more gas on the fire. While WWE still hasn’t officially announced a match, all signs are pointing toward a collision course for the Women’s World Title.
Cargill, who has held the championship since November 2025, has only wrestled a total of 7 minutes and 25 seconds on television since winning it—adding fuel to Grace’s “Jadeberg” nickname and the perception that her reign is more style than substance.
One thing is certain: if this does lead to a match, it’s going to be personal.
Do you think Jordynne Grace crossed the line with the “Jadeberg” nickname—or was Jade’s “smoker” comeback even harsher? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
