After a brutal WWE SmackDown main event left fans concerned, Jade Cargill has broken her silence—confirming she’s doing just fine.
On September 27, Jade posted an update to her Instagram Stories, letting everyone know she’s okay after suffering a hard-way cut during her triple threat match against Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax.
The chaos unfolded during the September 26 episode of SmackDown in Orlando. Cargill took a nasty shot to the head on the ring steps during a brawl with Nia Jax outside the ring. Blood poured from her forehead as medical staff checked on her mid-match. Despite being visibly shaken, Cargill got back in the ring and hit her Eye of the Storm on Jax before the finish spiraled into a now-infamous botch.
Fans immediately began speculating about the severity of the injury, with some even questioning if Cargill was originally supposed to win. Arianna Grace (Arii Fatuu) echoed that feeling in a since-deleted Instagram Story, posting:
“No way… it was supposed to be Jade’s night. Are you okay @jadecargill..?”
Cargill later reposted the Story and responded with a short but powerful update: “I’m okay!” That simple response reassured fans that, despite the blood and confusion, she’s in good shape.
The match ended with Tiffany Stratton hitting her Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Jax to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. But between the busted face, the referee’s botched pin count, and WWE later editing the mistake out of the YouTube upload, Cargill’s incident was what one of the most talking about moments.
She’s still firmly in the title picture, and her resilience just earned her even more respect from the WWE Universe.
