Jade Cargill isn’t letting fan criticism shake her confidence—in fact, she just compared her public presence to none other than Kim Kardashian.

Speaking on the Beyond the Bell podcast on January 21, 2026, Cargill addressed the online heat she’s been getting following her face-to-face moment with Jordynne Grace on SmackDown and the exchange that followed online. She doubled down on her unapologetic mindset, pointing out how society loves to build up confident women—then tear them down.

“I approach it with a lot of prayer, and I just want to go out there and do the best I can. That’s another reason why I have the mindset of, like, man, y’all can kiss my rear end, because I go out there and I’m going to do the best I can do, to the best of my ability.”

She made it clear that her goal is never to win over every critic—and she sees her value whether people cheer her or not. Cargill then compared her polarizing presence to that of Kim Kardashian, noting how someone can be publicly hated and still be in high demand.

“Let’s be real. Fans don’t like anything that’s put out. It’s your problem, not mine. If the people in the front office are happy, my coworkers are happy, and whoever was in the ring with me is happy, that’s all that matters. I look at someone like Kim Kardashian. Every time Kim K walks into a restaurant, people are trying to kick her out, but then everybody is also begging her to come to their restaurant and wear their clothing. So, good or bad, I’m fueling everybody else.”

She added that her routine going into matches includes a strong mental reset—affirming her greatness before she steps through the curtain. Cargill wrapped up the podcast with a message about confidence and how society still struggles with women who show too much of it.

“I stretch, I get myself mentally prepared, and I tell myself, ‘You’re the best. You’re the best.’ Then I pray, I go out there, and I do what I do. I just have that persona—I am the epitome of confidence. And for some reason, society tells women to be confident, but not too confident. Like, ‘Who do you think you are?’ No, I know exactly who I am. I’m Jade Cargill, whether y’all like it or not. And there’s nothing wrong with that.”

The timing of her remarks couldn’t be more relevant. Just last week, after her staredown with Jordynne Grace on SmackDown in Berlin, one fan asked if she would finally defend her title. Cargill fired back on Twitter:

“For what? To make y’all happy? Y’all are never happy. So, I’m going to do what I want 💅🏾🥱. I’ll THINK about it.”

Jade Cargill’s message is clear: she’s not out here to win everyone’s approval. Whether it’s a comparison to Kim Kardashian or standing tall in front of the WWE Universe, she’s embracing her role as a lightning rod—and she’s not apologizing for it.

Is Jade Cargill the kind of star WWE needs more of—or is her confidence crossing the line for you? Sound off in the comments.
