Jade Cargill is catching heat again over her promo work, and this time the criticism is coming from longtime WWE personality Jonathan Coachman.
During a recent episode of Coach & Bro with Vince Russo, Coachman reacted to Jade Cargill’s current storyline where she’s been backed up on SmackDown by Michin and B-Fab during her feud with Rhea Ripley. Instead of focusing on the storyline itself, Coachman zeroed in on what he believes is WWE protecting Cargill by surrounding her with help.
While discussing why WWE might be pairing her with other talent on television, Coachman suggested the decision could be tied to her performance on the microphone.
“And also, Jade, who you put the world title on, you’re telling people, ‘Well, she’s not good enough by herself’. Or maybe her promos are telling that for you. God, she’s bad on the mic.”
Coachman’s blunt take adds to the criticism that has followed Cargill throughout her wrestling career. Even with her strong presentation and title-level push, her speaking ability has often been a talking point among fans and analysts.
The timing of his comments comes as Cargill continues to gain more television time during her feud with Rhea Ripley heading into WrestleMania season. With more spotlight comes more pressure, especially when it comes to delivering strong promos on live television.
Jade Cargill has built her reputation on confidence and dominance, but comments like this show that some veterans still believe her microphone work remains her biggest weakness.
