Jacy Jayne Says She’s a Kanye Fan—Then Immediately Regrets It

Jacy Jayne isn’t afraid to keep it real—even when it gets uncomfortable. The WWE star recently opened up about her gym playlist, and her choice of artist sparked a moment she instantly tried to walk back.

During a lighthearted segment on Busted Open Radio, Jayne was asked by Dave LaGreca what kind of music gets her hyped on the way to the WWE Performance Center. She started off strong—then hesitated when one name slipped out.

“Yeah, so I like all kinds of music, like literally all kinds of music I listen to. But right now I’m obsessed with Kendrick Lamar. Like he’s like all I listen to. And someone else… I, I’m a big Kanye fan, but I can’t really say that. I like his music, but I can’t really say that.”

Co-host Bully Ray didn’t let that slide, immediately reacting, “I’m sorry.” Jayne laughed and tried to pivot, “What do you think, I’ll say like Metallica? I don’t.” To which Bully Ray replied, “I would be happy.” Jayne added, “They were just in Tampa.”

Kanye West remains one of the most controversial names in music. From antisemitic outbursts and conspiracy theories to public breakdowns and dropped endorsements, his reputation has taken major hits in recent years. That explains why even a casual shoutout to his music can trigger a reaction.
