Jacy Jayne shocked the NXT Universe on May 27 by defeating Stephanie Vaquer in the main event of WWE NXT to become the new NXT Women’s Champion. Now, just moments after her victory aired, Jayne has broken her silence—and she didn’t hold back.
Shortly after the episode wrapped, Jayne took to Twitter and made it clear she never forgot those who doubted her.
“To everyone who ever doubted me, called me the third wheel, said I’d never make it… HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Never doubt me again.”
Her message came after a chaotic and interference-filled title bout that saw Fallon Henley help seal Vaquer’s downfall. After Vaquer hit her signature Devil’s Kiss, Henley nailed her with a surprise kick, opening the door for Jayne to score the pinfall. That final moment crowned Jayne as champion in a finish that left fans stunned.
Vaquer had just defended the title against Jordynne Grace at WWE Battleground, making this loss all the more unexpected. The match also featured appearances from Dalys, Chik Tormenta, and Lola Vice, setting up even more drama for Worlds Collide.
Stephanie Vaquer may not be done chasing the gold, but for now, NXT has a new queen—and she’s got receipts.
