Jacob Fatu rolled into SmackDown with some fresh ink, and fans didn’t miss it.

During the April 10 episode of SmackDown, Fatu stepped into the ring against Tama Tonga with a brand new tattoo visible on the outside of his left arm. The new piece stood out right away, especially since it wrapped around his existing “Journey” tattoo, giving his arm a more complete look.

Now fans are getting a better look at the tattoo after Fatu’s artist, Michael Fatutoa — known as @samoan_mike on Instagram — shared a video showing off the finished work. The detailed design connects with his previous ink and adds to the strong visual presence Fatu already carries inside the ring.

Fatutoa is well-known within the Anoa’i and Fatu family circle. He has done tattoo work for several members of the famous wrestling family, including Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso. That makes this new tattoo another piece tied to the family’s long tradition of meaningful body art.

The timing of the new tattoo is interesting, as Fatu is getting ready for one of the biggest matches of his career. He is set to face Drew McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42, a match that is expected to get intense. Showing up with new ink right before that stage adds another layer to his presentation heading into the event.

Fatu has built his reputation around intensity and presence, and the new tattoo only adds to that look as WrestleMania gets closer. With a major fight waiting for him, fans will be watching closely to see how things play out when he steps onto the biggest stage of the year.
