Jack Perry hasn’t been on AEW TV since losing the TNT Title to Daniel Garcia at Full Gear. While there’s no indication when he’ll return, it appears Perry has been backstage at some recent AEW tapings.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, it was revealed that Jack Perry has been backstage at some recent AEW tapings. Obviously this is a serious development for Perry considering the fact he’s been gone for such a long time.
As reported earlier, Jack Perry was considered for Kenny Omega’s return feud earlier this year. However, those plans were ultimately scrapped and changed, with AEW going in a different direction.
“He was in consideration for Kenny’s return feud, but it was scrapped and changed, and they went in a different direction. I haven’t heard anything about him lately, but he was planned for that Omega stuff.”
It’s still unknown what AEW plans to do with Jack Perry next, but seeing him backstage is a good sign that he might be getting ready for a return. Fans will definitely be excited to see how AEW brings back one of its original Four Pillars, especially since he could easily get involved with The Elite again or even the Death Riders.
