Things are getting more twisted than ever between The Young Bucks and Jack Perry—at least in the Being the Elite universe.
In the latest episode of Being the Elite, Matt Jackson receives a suspicious package in the mail. Inside? A large knife and a handwritten note that reads: “For the next time you want to stab me in the back.”
That one-liner alone has fans thinking Jack Perry is ramping up his next move in this long-simmering storyline. On a previous episode, Matt was seen ignoring a phone call from Perry, adding even more tension to the slow-burn feud brewing between them.
Jack Perry isn’t being subtle about any of this. The AEW star recently took to Instagram to show off knives he’s personally crafted—complete with rugged tree bark handles. It’s unclear if the knife sent to Matt is one of Perry’s creations, but the visual connection isn’t being lost on fans.
Meanwhile, The Bucks aren’t exactly laying low. After scoring a $500,000 payday on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite—thanks to teaming with The Death Riders in a ten-man tag match—the brothers are seen gambling away some of that cash on slot machines in this week’s BTE.
Backstage or onscreen, this storyline keeps getting darker, weirder, and a little more personal with each beat. Whether it’s just BTE fiction or something AEW plans to bring to TV soon, it’s clear The Young Bucks and Jack Perry are far from done with each other.
