Blake Christian has been running with the “Vanilla Baby” nickname ever since Jack Harlow’s hit Lovin On Me got tied to him through a viral edit that spread across the wrestling world. The branding has caught on with fans, but one key piece has been missing from his presentation in AEW and ROH — the actual song itself.

“That, I think, I got turned down on, to be honest. I tried. I believe I got turned down, didn’t I? I don’t want to put any heat on him. He seems like a nice guy. I’ve been around him enough times at parties, and he seems like a nice guy, Jack. I’m glad to hear you support it, and hopefully that will lead to more public pressure for him to accept my offers and overtures,” said Khan.

At the AEW All Out press scrum, Tony Khan revealed that he tried to secure the rights to use Harlow’s track for Christian’s entrance, but things didn’t go as planned.

Despite the refusal, Khan clearly hasn’t given up hope, even hinting that public support might push things in the right direction. For now, though, Blake Christian will have to keep riding the Vanilla Baby wave without Jack Harlow’s hit behind him.
