AEW’s sixth anniversary celebration at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida wasn’t just about Dynamite—it also featured a major debut during the ROH on HonorClub tapings.
IWGP Women’s Champion Sareee officially stepped into a Ring of Honor ring for the first time, teaming with Alex Windsor in a tag team match. The duo picked up a win over Billie Starkz and Diamanté.
Sareee has been making waves across Japan, particularly at recent STARDOM events, where she’s hinted at wanting to face a specific opponent in America before her upcoming title defense against Syuri. With AEW’s WrestleDream pay-per-view scheduled for October 18, the timing of her ROH appearance has fans speculating that her mystery opponent could be revealed very soon.
She’s not coming in light either—Sareee currently holds multiple championships across the wrestling world. She’s not only the reigning IWGP Women’s Champion but also the Sukeban World Champion and one-half of the AAAW Tag Team Champions alongside Takumi Iroha.
Now the question is whether Sareee’s next stop is WrestleDream—and who’s standing across the ring when she gets there.
Who do you think Sareee is targeting in AEW? Should she defend the IWGP Women’s Championship at WrestleDream? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
